To improve the quality of life of the elderly through the effective use of available resources; thereby fulfilling the “aging in place” ideology.

Geylang East Home For The Aged (GEHA) was founded in December 1978 as a voluntary welfare organization to provide quality care for the elderly. It started as a community home situated at a HDB void deck in Aljunied Crescent.

GEHA is not a member of the Community Chest, thus it depends mainly on public donations and fund raising events/activities to defray its operating costs and expenses.

GEHA was registered under the Charities Act on 24-6-1986. Registration Number: 0342
