This company began as The Asia Life Assurance Society Limited in 1948 and changed its name to TM Asia Life Singapore Ltd. in 2007 when Tokio Marine took the helm. To enhance synergy with the Tokio Marine Group and to reflect its position as part of a global organisation, it was renamed Tokio Marine Life Insurance Singapore Ltd. (“TMLS”) on 31st August 2010. TMLS provides a comprehensive suite of products to meet 8 very important key financial need areas: namely Education Funding, Wealth Accumulation, Wealth Enhancement, Living With Impaired Health, Income Replacement, Retirement Funding, Legacy Planning and Business Continuation. In addition, a suite of employee benefit group insurance plans are available to be packaged to cater to the business needs of companies.

Well-known in the market place for having strong participating policies, TMLS remains the only life insurance company in Singapore that has never reduced bonuses for participating policies since 1948; a sterling record that it still proudly holds today.

Adopting a multi-channel distribution model, TMLS has been the preferred insurance partner amongst the Financial Advisers over the last decade. Strategic partnerships have also propelled strong growth in the Bancassurance channel. The Agency channel continues to evolve itself into a highly professional team of consultant to serve the financial priorities of our clients.
