Fun activities for Christmas weekend in Singapore – It’s Christmas Eve! We wish all our NextLifeBook users, partners, readers a Blessed Merry Christmas in advance, and a Happy New 2022 Year
If you’re done with dining and like to be out and about in Singapore, here are some fun things you can grab some friends (within 5 pax) to do.
1. Night Cycling – its a good time to draw some dinosaurs and lion heads across the city, to burn off the calories from the big dinners that we’ll be having.
2. Orchard Road Lights – Take a walk or drive down Orchard Road to see the beautiful Christmas lights. Warning – Traffic will be super heavy, but wind down the windows, enjoy the slight breeze, and take in the festivities.
3. Changi Festive Village – Check out the dinosaur installations with twinkling Christmas trees all along Airport’s Terminal 4, where you can take part in carnival games, shop in a pop-up market or even stay overnight for a unique glamping experience. While you are there, head over to Jewel Changi and be enchanted by the artificial snowfall and lights display at the Forest Valley, or enjoy a picnic at the Canopy Park.
4. Capitol & CHIJMES Christmas Event – Experience a White Christmas at CHIJMES Skating Rink, or immerse yourself in Capitol Singapore’s dreamy snow play domes.
5. Universal Studios Singapore – Characters from Sesame Street, Minions and Shrek will be around for Photo taking, and USS will also be hosting its first ever Festive Market. Expect fairy lights, Christmas ornaments and red brick-walled arches, the Festive Market pop-up offers an array of locally produced snacks (artisanal) and festive desserts by boutique brands.
6. Gardens by the Bay, Christmas Wonderland – in a return to its annual Christmas event, towering light displays, carnival and a street market of festive goodies will be at GBTB. By night, see the Supertrees twinkle for the Garden Rhapsody light and sound show, and bring children in tow to ride the magnificent Venetian Double-Storey Carousel. This year’s attraction will be the Enchanted Bridge, which shines with 100,000 LED lights.
